Covering approximately 1,500 km, daily distances range from 50 to 240 km. Tour on late-model Royal Enfield 500cc singles featuring electric starters, left gearshift, leather saddlebags, and front disk brakes. Comprehensive insurance with a EUR 500.00 deductible.
Road conditions include over 90% paved roads with varying states of repair, narrow country lanes, mountain passes, and occasional jungle trails. Riding skills require confidence on paved roads; handling unpaved or gravel trails should not pose a problem.
Accommodations consist of typical, basic to mid-range hotels, offering an excellent atmosphere. All rooms are equipped with bath and WC facilities.
Nepal's climate is mostly sunny, with daytime temperatures ranging from 15°C to 30°C and lows of 10°C to 20°C, dependent on weather and altitude. The likelihood of rain is approximately five percent.
DAY-BY-DAY ROAD MAP
DAY 1: Kathmandu Arrival - Altitude: 1300m
Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will welcome and assist you to your designated hotel. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
DAY 2: Kathmandu - Preparation Day
Today, we'll finalize Upper Mustang permits and explore Kathmandu on a short ride. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
DAY 3: Kathmandu – Pokhara - Altitude: 900m - 200km 5hrs Ride- Paved Road
After breakfast, drive 5 hours to Pokhara, a beautiful town surrounded by lakes and offering stunning Himalayan views. Check-in and enjoy an evening stroll along Phewa Lake.
DAY 4: Pokhara – Kalapani - Altitude: 2600m - 125 km (4hrs Ride) - Mixed Terrain
Embark on a picturesque journey to Kalapani, encountering diverse landscapes. Road conditions vary from blacktop to off-road after Beni.
DAY 5: Kalapani – Jomsom - Altitude: 2800m - 35km (2-3hrs Ride)- Rough Road
A short but adventurous ride to Jomsom, a village with essential facilities. Optional visit to Dhumba Lake if time permits.
DAY 6: Jomsom - Muktinath - Altitude: 3700m - 22km (2hrs Ride) - Rough Road
Early morning ride to Muktinath, a significant religious site for Hindus and Buddhists. Enroute visit Kagbeni and, if time allows, Throngla pass.
DAY 7: Muktinath - Tatopani - Altitude: 1200m - 70km (3hrs Ride) – Rough Road
Begin the descent towards Pokhara, staying at different locations than the previous night. Tatopani offers a natural hot spring for relaxation.
DAY 8: Tatopani - Pokhara – 120km (4-5 hrs Ride) - Mixed Terrain
Conclude the adventurous ride in Pokhara. Explore the city, visit landmarks, or indulge in activities like paragliding. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
DAY 9: Pokhara – Chitwan - 150 km (4-5 hrs Drive)
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan, enjoying scenic landscapes. Check-in, refresh, and participate in nature programs. Explore the riverbank and enjoy a cultural program.
DAY 10: Chitwan
Explore the elephant breeding center, enjoy a canoe ride, and take part in a Jeep safari to witness wildlife. Evening includes a jungle expert's presentation. Overnight in Chitwan.
DAY 11: Chitwan - Kathmandu via Daman - (5-6 hours Drive)
Return to Kathmandu via Daman for a scenic drive. Check in at the hotel, refresh, and spend the evening in touristic areas.
DAY 12: Departure
Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight, our representative will transfer you to the airport for your departure.
