Trip Highlights
Take a leisurely walk around the lake or hike up to the World Peace Pagoda to see stunning views of Pokhara and the nearby mountains. Then, ride through beautiful terraced rice fields to Palpa, an old Newari village with buildings as ancient as the mountains themselves. Next, travel down scenic winding roads to the flat plains known as the "Terai" to visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha.
After enjoying a delicious lunch in Lumbini, continue your journey to the famous Chitwan National Park. Here, you'll park your bikes for a day and go on an exciting adventure including a canoe ride, jungle walk, and jeep safari to see endangered species like rhinoceroses, tigers, leopards, and other wildlife.
The ride from Lumbini to Chitwan offers beautiful views along the way. Your final stop is Nuwakot's Famous Farm, surrounded by nature. Relax in the peaceful atmosphere, admire the stunning sunset views, and experience traditional Nepali architecture. Enjoy tasty traditional food and warm hospitality before spending a quiet night in nature.
On your way back to Kathmandu, take a route through Gurjubhanjyang, one of the high passes leading into the Kathmandu Valley, with 70 kilometers of scenic countryside roads. Then, check into a boutique hotel in Thamel, a lively tourist area known for its great bars and restaurants.
